Our WG/SH (SH= Shared Home) is especially designed for foreign guests, who will working for a Company

in our region such as ABB, Ansaldo, Alstom, AXPO, GE, Hitachi, PSI-Paul Scherrer Institut, Park Innovaare, Liebherr, Gutor/Schneider etc... for a period of time, or who are doing an internship or study at FHNW or University.

First of all: with us you don't just live only in a "furnished room", you are part of a "like-minded" flat-sharing community. You don't just live in one of the 5 private rooms, you can use the spacious apartment (200 m2) with all his conveniences.

The apartment is equipped with everything necessary, because most guests arrive with only 1-2 suitcases.

The rent includes a lot of services such as: regular basic cleaning, waste disposal, cleaning agents, toilet paper etc.
The main language of the community is English and we keep in contact with our flat-chat.


The landlord is Swiss and assists all guests on request. Benefit from the local knowledge of your landlord, who lives on the ground floor with his family. Enjoy your stay in Switzerland, close to where you operate.

Quiet and sunny situation.

The apartement takes the whole upper floor of our 2-family house.

Within 150 meters: bus stop, butcher, baker, post office, bank, grocery store...

Baden, Brugg/Windisch, Zurich or PSI-Villigen

The entrance to the WG is on the ground floor, with letterbox and Intercom system with door opener.

Inside:  wardrobe and staircase upstairs to the large reception hall

From here you can reach all rooms.

 

The living room (48 m2) is spacious and bright. Large window fronts with electric blinds.

A corner fireplace (decorative only) separates the living room from the dining area.

Bright, easy-care stone floor.
Basic equipment: wall unit, dining area with sideboard, a big sitting sofa.

TV flat-screen with about 70 channels. 

Direct access to the south-facing balcony with covered seating area.

 

The south-facing balcony (20 m2) is located in front of the kitchen and living room and offers a large, covered seating area.

Direct access from kitchen and living room.

Ideal for sunbathing, chatting and eating.

 

The large living-kitchen (16 m2) offers a lot of space. Modern, professional kitchen equipment. Many drawers and stowage possibilities. Cooking/sink area with anthracite-coloured granite top. 310 liters refrigerator, baking/grill-oven, dishwasher, large glass-ceramic hob with fume hood, microwave.

The corner bench with a long dining table offers up to 10 seats.
Direct access to the south balcony.

In the all-purpose room there are: modern washing machine and tumble dryer, a large freezer and a 2nd refrigerator 300 liters (operation by full occupancy).
In the 4-door closet the residents can store their detergents and other kitchen articles. Access to the 2nd balcony with seating.

4 and 5 and is 9 meters long with a seat.

Garden seating area and bike box

In the garden in front of the house there is now a lockable bike box.

Behind it a barbecue grill with table and benches.

Many of our residents often stay much longer than originally planned. This does not make planning easy - but we usually find a good solution for all parties.

Rental/month CHF - all inclusive

with a rental period 5 month's or longer

Rental 5 months or longer...

You will stay with us for at least 5 months. You pay the 1st rental-month and same amount as deposit. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period.

Termination of a contract:

You guarantee to stay with us for at least 5 months. With a 3-month notice period in advance - you can leave us after 5 months at any time.

Short rent from 2-4 months

You can also stay with us for just 2, 3  or 4 months.

The rental period is than usualy fixed.

You pay the 1st month and same amount as deposit. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period.
Of course, you can also spontaneously stay longer, provided we have than the availability.

Monthly surcharge to the rates abvove

Stay 4 months:    60.-

Stay 3 months:    80.-
Stay 2 months:   120.-

Private outdoor car park: 40.-/month.
